By downloading, installing, or using BADGR Bolt (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and BADGRTechnologies LLC ("we", "us", "our").
BADGR Bolt is a speed reading application for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
BADGR Bolt Pro is available as a monthly auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, processed entirely through Google Play. All billing, refunds, and payment disputes are governed by Google Play Terms of Service.
Auto-renewal: Monthly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date via your Google Play account settings.
Cancellation: You may cancel a subscription at any time through Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at the next renewal after the notice period.
Free tier: The App may be used without a subscription subject to free tier limitations, including a library limit of five books. Free tier features may change over time.
Creating a BADGR Bolt account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Email verification is required to enable cloud sync. Reading on-device is available without a verified account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or are found to be fraudulent.
The App and all content, design, software, and trademarks are the property of BADGRTechnologies LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. The open-source core of BADGR Bolt (including OrpEngine, WordTokenizer, and Free-tier UI components) is available under the MIT License as indicated in the repository.
Proprietary Pro components — including InAppPurchaseManager, CloudSyncManager, ReadingPerformanceTracker, and the Achievements engine — are not open source and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed.
You retain all rights to any content you import into the App. By importing content, you represent that you have the legal right to use it. We do not claim ownership of your imported documents and we do not store imported book content on our servers beyond the time required to process the import.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that content you import does not infringe third-party rights.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BADGRTechnologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Georgia.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the App.
